The lighthouse of Chryssi Island

The lighthouse of Chryssi Island

The small lighthouse on Chryssi Island, powered by a solar panel, is located west of the island's central beach. The chapel of Agios Nikolaos, the patron saint of sailors, as well as the small salt pan of Chryssi, where dozens of birds congregate in the winter, are nearby. Around the lighthouse, you will see the vast archaeological site of Chryssi, consisting mostly of fishing houses, workshops, and tombs.
