At the east end of the island of Chryssi stands the beautiful Kataprosopo Beach, which faces the islet of Mikronisi. Micronisi is an important sanctuary for seabirds. Essentially, the beach is divided in two by a thin strip of land, while the juniper vegetation is clearly more limited than the other beaches of the eastern part of the island. The waters are shallow and no deeper than 5m as far as Micronisi, making them ideal for snorkeling.
A few meters north of the beach stands the small hill Kefala with an altitude of only 31 meters with the old lookout tower of the island. From its top, the entire length of the island is visible.
