About 500m west of the port where the boats of the island of Chrysis moored in the past, approximately in the middle of the southern part of the island, a dirt road leads us to the beautiful Vlychadia Beach. The beach has black and red gravel originating from red lava, whereas the bottom is rocky.
There is little vegetation around and no natural shade. Next to the beach, there is an iconostasis. This is a good choice for those who want to have some privacy on the south side of the island, especially on days when the sea in the north is in turmoil.
